Good day!

After turning down a job offer for SY 2020-2021, I'm already thinking of applying for the following year. Do you think it's too early to apply for that year? I saw that SY 2021-2022 was available on the DoDEA application website.
ecd5 I'd leave this SY on you app. If your position is hard to fill, it is possible that you might get another referral. I don't think there is any point of changing it to 21-22 because your app will need to be reactivated in the EAS system again in the spring.

IsItFriday? I agree with ecd5.

You won't get in ahead of anyone, and you're giving them the wrong message about this current hiring season.

lma324 Because you turned down a job offer, that means your application is locked for 1 year. Although it may be possible to get another referral I've never heard of this happening if you've turned down a job. I would start looking for 21/22 :)

ecd5 It's happened to me multiple times. It depends on your certifications and the need to fill the position.
