I had an interview last Thursday that I thought went pretty ok. I contacted my supervisor on Friday about completing the reference email they had sent her. She told me that there was nothing in the email to complete, no attachment, so I emailed the school and let them know. The secretary emailed me yesterday and said that she resent the email and my supervisor was able to complete it. Is it a good sign that they resent the email so many days after the interview? Does that mean they are still considering me?

Just Me They sent it either right before or right after. They had requested her info. I asked my supervisor if she received it and she said she was not able to complete it. That's when I emailed them to see if they wanted to resend it.

IsItFriday? My advice is based on the latter possibility, that they sent the reference after the interview. Keep in mind that if I'm correct (and I think I am) it might still be some weeks before you receive the unofficial offer.

Just Me From previous experience, I don't believe that they would have bothered taking the time to resend the email if they weren't still considering me, but I could be wrong. I really don't want to get my hopes up for this to be an anomaly or nothing at all.

H It's not a guarantee. That happened to me two years ago. I know I would've received great references, but I still wasn't offered the job. I assume it's a very good sign, just not a guarantee. Good luck and let us know.
