Yes. You will definitely have access to base (commissary, movies, etc...). I don't live there, but I am certain they will have on-base child care that you can use. I looked at off-base housing there once, because I thought I was going there (it's very nice). I was looking at a 15-30 minute commute depending on where I picked. The traffic at the gat...See More

You'll drop your kid at the CDC before work, and pick him up after work.

I'm a single mom in Korea. On base housing is for military only. The LQA here is great and you will have your choice of beautiful homes that a realtor will show you off post. The off base apartments are wonderful.
But double check with these people. Be sure that they understand that you are a Dodds teacher, otherwise the answers will not be valid.
