How is the date selected for when you travel?
What can the $1300 miscellaneous moving stipend be used for?
Can you travel out of a different location than your home state? We might take the last week to go visit family and would easier then to fly out of there (would be cheaper too)

I interpreted the OP to be asking about the Miscellaneous Expense Allowance (MEA) which is also a $1300 flat rate reimbursement for new hires (if you have dependents).

Thank you. I believe the website lists the different expenses it is meant to cover. As mentioned previously, pet travel would be one. Also, losses for selling cars, large appliances, breaking leases, and for purchasing car(s) in new location, etc.
