Can anyone give me information about moving from overseas DoDEA to competitive service stateside? Do your years in service stay with you? How long can I wait until I reapply for DoDEA? Would my years/steps in DoDEA start over if I'm rehired? Or would I get to keep my steps if there's no break in federal service? I would go from DoDEA immediately to a competive service job and then ideally back to DoDEA eventually. Are there any resources to help transition from excepted to competitive service?
