I am being "strongly encouraged" to have SATO book the Patriot Express to avoid a double quarantine situation--2 weeks in Tokyo followed by 2 weeks at my base.

I'm not sure what you are asking.
Generally, a rotator flight to Korea is going to be full mainly of inbound personnel, on orders. That's the primary purpose of the flight.
Are you going to Korea? Don't you have orders? Is the flight already fully booked?

Waiting on orders. I was told by a friend already in Korea that others who are inbound on govt travel orders have been told that DoDEA will not support commercial flights into Korea and are currently requiring rotator. I found this an odd policy as I assumed most were already booked. I'm going to email HR to see what they're tracking. I just didn't...See More

My understanding is that Patriot Express is the primary choice and SATO will attempt to make this happen, but if all flights are booked, that other options will be used.
