Does a GS 11 position (Admin Officer) offer help with relocation expenses and/or housing? It was brought to my attention in another group that unless I was hired from a DODEA school stateside that there is no allowances for overseas moves. We are looking at Ansbach. Any advice is helpful!
Educate I was wondering this too! Also how do they determine what level of salary one starts at? And do they work more days than teachers?

Icanread I'm pretty sure they work year round. I don't know about the moving expenses. What does the job ad say?

Educate "Selectees initially recruited from the United States may receive certain foreign area benefits such as: Living Quarters Allowance (LQA) or government quarters, home leave, etc. (Subject to approval). Overseas allowances may be authorized in accordance with Department of State Standardized Regulation (DSSR) and DoDI 1400.25 volume 1250."

HelpOthers You can look up GS pay scales, but I think it has something to do with matching to your current salary. AOs are expected to be in the schools over the summer, and are encouraged to take leave during the school year on days that TSP (admin, teachers, etc.) must be in the building.
