Hi everyone, I have a question. I've hit a referral list in Japan for a k-2 position and I'm wonder if my child with scoliosis will be able to be seen by a specialist there. He is in a brace but the curve is getting better. Thanks for any advice.
Icanread It could depend on which part of Japan. Okinawa doesn't have many specialists, and I believe Misawa is very limited on medical services.

Sunnyluring @Icanread. It is Yokosuka, it seems to be a large base. If the case doesn't have the specialist will we be referred onto the economy? Thanks for any advice.

HelpOthers EFMP would be the final authority on this, but if you were to go to any location in Japan, Yokosuka would have the most services on base and off (Tokyo). I think Luke Hospital is the one most recommended in the Tokyo area and accepts our insurance, so maybe look to see if that hospital can meet your child's needs in case the on base hospital cannot...See More
