I have submitted an access to e-qip form, but I have not received an email that requests specific/detailed background info nor info requesting me to update anything online(e-qip website). Is that normal? It's been 2 weeks.

Ida Unfortunately, yes. It took my husband exactly 4 weeks to receive the email. It is just a very busy time.

So I'm in week 3 after the interview still awaiting the offer. After reading the very informative posts (thank you!!) I'm not going to hesitate to contact HR as in these situations "patience is not a virtue". I'm wondering how to do that though. Email? Phone call? Where can I find contact info for HR? HelpOthers If this was through USA Jobs, there is contact information in the job posting. Go back and look at it. If this was through EAS, there is a "contact us" tab as part of the application, that says if being hired from CONUS to DoDDS and another for DDESS.

My HR person sent me info on EBIS presumably to set up my benefits but the link doesn't work. Has anyone set up their benefits yet? If so, what link did you use and what info did you need to start that process? Any special log in? Or did you just set up a new account?

Inprocessing sent... now what?

wanderwoman My district flipped to an annual contract a few years ago, so that part won't matter. I just want to keep it as easy as possible for my principal because she's awesome and has been so supportive of me. I've already sent in my passport info and completed my background check as well. It's literally just me waiting.

haha Cancelling is not an issue at all with Softbank on our base but definitely give more credence to what people in Misawa are saying. I've only been up there when coaching for my school (and it wasn't snowing :P).
