I am a gifted specialist whose district is undergoing a revamp for gifted education. I am looking for input on how other gifted programs are run. I would appreciate your help in offering the following...
Your state School District The number of schools in your district The number of gifted teachers per district What grades are serviced? How are they serviced (push in or pull out?) How much time? How often do you see students? What other services are offered by the gifted specialist? Are primary grades serviced differently than intermediate? What subject areas do you offer enrichment from? Do you have a gifted curriculum? Are all gifted teachers doing the same thing throughout your district? Please, offer any suggestions that have allowed your program to be a success
