Hi! I'm also prepping for the exam and have no idea what else to study. The information on the NBCT website is no help! Did anyone end up finding a prep study guide? I could only find generalist study guides and not any for exceptional needs. Need help! Thanks :)
mscrawford101The best advice I could offer is to practice with the essay responses - specifically the timing. They go REAL fast! If you just use the samples provided, that is a good place to start.
Teach4LyfeIt might take points off if they can't read it, but I agree this was made to be rather complex combining files for submission. Next year, take your docs to Staples or Office Depot and have them scan them for you. They probably have better equipment. I had similar problems with Comp 4 and my husband used a powerful scanner at work.
Hatshepsut1215What a Great suggestion! Thanks Teach4Lyfe. I will definitely do this as I prepare for Comp 3 & 4 for the upcoming school year!! Best to You!!
Teach4LyfeDaryl, that's fantastic! This seems so overwhelming when you start. I'm so glad you submitted! Now let's all meet back here in December because no matter what happens then, we are still closer to becoming NBCTs!
what is the exact difference between the 6 pages of the question document and the 6 pages of the assessment tool document. There seems to be overlap of evidence in both?? Looking to gain a better understanding of what is contained in both.
JackieThe commentary asks "What question have you formulated related to your work with this student?" What are they looking for here?
