Amy C. What is your certification area? I didn't have to video tape for Component 2 last year. I'm ELA Early Adolescence. What Works The scores released so far have been ONLY for RENEWAL and RETAKE candidates. Scores for 1st time candidates will be released BY Dec. 31, 2016, Cross your fingers for an earlier release date...but prepare yourself! Good Luck!

Pro Retake Candidate..I FINALLY CERTIFIED

I did this process from 2008-2011 and fell short 6 points. I started the process again in 2013 and CERTIFIED today. I needed 10 points and got 43. I did 5 retakes and Achieved on the 6th try. I am so happy that I didn't quit!

I got an email today that said to prepare for score release - there is no date set yet for release of scores.

I am curious where on my profile the scores will be? Currently, there doesn't look like there is a place for the scores? I started the process last year (2015-16).

What Works Hello First-timer. I'm sure you aren't the only one confused, possibly due to my own response earlier. This is the first time the NB has released the scores of advanced candidates and first-time candidates on different days.

An advanced candidate is someone who is finishing the OLD process - the one in place before you became a candidate....See More

Are component scores released individually, or will I only get one score report when I finish the whole process? I just started in the spring with component 1, and I'm wondering if I'll get that score this year, or if I'll have to wait until I've completed all of them.

What Works Good question! If you did only Component 1, that is the only score you'll get. Candidates who did more than one component will get scores for all the components they worked on. You don't have to wait until all components are completed to get your scores. Hope that helps.
