MCG Component 2 Assignment/Prompt Form

For the MC Generalist Assignment/Prompt Form, we do NOT type the detailed assignment on the form, correct? The only action taken on that form is to put the ID number and put an "X" in the brackets corresponding to the assignment that follows? This form does not count as one of the 3 pages (the actual assignment/prompt, instructional material, and relevant supporting material). This is the way I understood the directions found in several different places. Is this correct? Does anyone know?

What Works There does not seem to be consensus on this question. I
encourage you to call 1-800-22TEACH and ask...then post
the response here for all to see.

Yosemite Sam I am struggling with the same question. I typed my prompt on the form, but that's all. Do we include any text?

Also, is it recommended to add descriptors to each artifact or simply speak to the artifacts in the commentary?

Lauren Lambert Romano Question for "What Works"

Do you recommend including descriptions of artifacts or leaving text to the commentary alone? I have images of the artifacts along with artifact numbers, but I didn't add descriptions.
