I know that the goal of this component is to show differentiation and we should pick examples of student work that we can comment on. I am wondering if I did an earlier assignment and now on a current one I can comment specifically about growth I have seen in the development of the concepts, do I also need to use the earlier assignment as an example of student work? I do daily exit tickets and that gives me a lot of formative information, but they aren't necessarily what I want to use to show the variety of assignments I use. Is it okay so say, from an earlier formative assessment I saw that student A needed work with this concept and so I took this action _____ and now one this assignment I see that they have a deeper understanding of the concept?

Kate Hi I am also working on Early Adolescence Science and I am feeling similar about how to organize and document growth. I would be interested to hear how things are going for you.
