Component 2 ELA - Student Sample Options

I am working to complete the Student Sample forms for Component 2 for ELA NBPTS cert. As a kindergarten teacher, I think I need to select option A for the work samples which indicates two 1-page student work samples and two 1-page teacher transcriptions in addition to the student work sample forms. However, I can't find anywhere that explains the "transcriptions" page. As a kindergarten writer, my student used invented spelling in both samples so I plan to address how she read it back to me for clarity. However, are there any specifications as to what this page should be? I get a whole page so can I discuss the conferring process as we reviewed these samples together (my student and I), or can I only simply translate what she meant in her writing? Any advice or suggestions?
