I am new to team teaching and a GED Bridge Class. Does anyone have any suggestions for being successful with reading, grammar, and vocabulary exercises when the team member is not cooperative with you. I am responsible for the English and the team member is "suppose" to be doing math, science and social studies. However, more time is spent doing activities not related to GED -- Eating, Celebrating, and just socializing. When I question my supervisor and the team member about the instructional program for the class, the answer is that this is a "learn as you go time because this is the first time for the class." No real structure for the class by the TEAM LEADER, THE GED Expert.
