I have made a slide show in I-photo. I converted it to a quicktime movie. Yet, I am unable to burn it on to a DVD that will play on a television. Please tell me how I could do this.
I also tried dropping photos into i-movie and burning a dvd that could be viewed on a television.
I ended up having to take my show to a professional who used Adobe via his Windows PC. I would really like to make it work on my MAC. Is it possible? If so, can you tell me how or direct me to a website with explicit directions?

SO if you need to edit the video you'd go to iMovie first, once the project is edited, titled, and audio is correct you'd export to iDVD.
You have to drag and drop the video into iMovie.
Importing video from an MPEG-4 video camera MPEG-4 video cameras may have a USB connection instead of a FireWire connection. To transfer video from an MPEG-4 device to your computer, connect the device to your computer using a USB cable. Your MPEG-4 camera or device appears as a hard disk on your desktop. You can open the hard disk icon and drag the video footage into your iMovie HD project or to your desktop for importing later.
When you import footage from an MPEG-4 device connected by a USB cable, each video file is imported as a single clip into your project; iMovie HD does not break it up into clips automatically. You cannot use the capture controls to import your video or control your camera, nor can you use the Magic iMovie feature to import video automatically.

Changing your keychain password You can change the password for your keychain at any time. However, if you want your default keychain to be unlocked automatically when you log in, make sure your keychain password is the same as your Mac OS X login password.
If your Mac OS X login password is not the same as your default keychain password, you'll be asked for the password whenever an application needs access to your keychain and your keychain is locked.
Open Keychain Access located in Applications/Utilities, and select the keychain in the Keychains list (click Show Keychains if the list is not open). Choose Edit 〉 "Change Password for Keychain 'login'." (The name of the keychain in the menu matches the name of the selected keychain. If you selected the keychain that unlocks when you log in, the name you see is "login.") If the keychain is locked, type the password to unlock it. Type the current password for this keychain. Type a new password, then type it again to verify. Click OK.

On 5/27/08, login pass...See MoreI've never set a keychain password, but now I realize that probably what happened is that when I reset my administrator password (thank you and Greg for the information), the keychain remained my forgotten password. So I need to reset my keychain to match the current, changed log-in password, don't I? Thanks, Christy

Jen ZuppWe had problems with Kid pix 3 when we changed our computer system years ago. To fix the problem we ordered Kid Pix Deluxe 4 for schools and haven't had a problem since. We have both a mac x lab and a dell xp lab.

Hello
I must apologize. I didn't know that the question mark embedded in the filename is a wrongdoer.
I replaced it by an underscore and now the download process works well.
At this time I just edited the name of the zip archives. To be consistent I will edit the name of original folders.
Done,
the consistent fileNames are now:
batch_AW5WP2AW6.zip (convert from AW5 to AW6) batch_AW56WP2Pages.zip (convert from AW5 or 6 to Pages)
batch_AW5SS2AW6.zip (convert from AW5 to AW6) batch_AW56SS2Numbers.zip (convert from AW5 or 6 to Numbers)

When I click on the video button, I get a window that say Safari cannot find the internet plug-in and this is the rest of the message: The page “Video on Demand” has content of MIME type “application/x- mplayer2”, but you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type. A plug- in should be available on this page:

Do you want to open the page?
My question is, DO i want to download the media player, and if so, which one? I don't want to do anything that might be harmful. Thanks, Christy
Dear Christy: Bill Gates no longer makes the media player for mac. Flipformac is the player that will work. Google Flip4mac or FlipforMac and download it and install it in your applications folder and it will show movies encoded for windows medial player
wigI use wikispaces. What I like is that it can be protected so anyone can see it but only those you invite, like your students, can post on it. You can also check the history to see exactly who posted when. I set up a page for each of my students, on it.

I've used wikispaces and edublogs with my eled students. Both can be moderated, and you can restrict who views them
She would have to ask att.net to unblock your address specifically.

Good Afternoon, just stumbled onto your post an thought I might try to help a little. I have worked with this many times, I am the IT Director at Ken Martin School Supply and have done this for a few clients, however on PC's not Mac's. The first thing is not to buy any more Mac's lol. But if that is your preference, get the one computer set up with the files you want them all to have and then just image the drive to all the other computers. Mac has a nice little program called Drive Wizard that can help you with this, not sure how much it runs and it might even be freeware. It is based on cloning and even has an option I believe to daisy chain the hard drives and clone that way. Good luck and if you need so more detailed help shot me an email and I will do my best. Good Luck
csI would stick w/ the advise Neal gave you. I have never heard of "Drive Wizard" I have cloned many Macs and have done it exactly the way Neal suggested.
I was able to figure all of this out. Your directions were very clear and precise.
I was able to make movies both ways. I viewed on television with no problem.
Again...thank you
