From Slideshow to DVD

I know there is a posting below about making a dvd. I have it, but can't do it.

I have made a slide show in I-photo. I converted it to a quicktime movie. Yet, I am unable to burn it on to a DVD that will play on a television. Please tell me how I could do this.

I was able to figure all of this out. Your directions were very clear and precise.

I was able to make movies both ways. I viewed on television with no problem.

Getting video from Flip camcorder to dvd

I have a new iMac and am having a problem getting videos I've recorded from my Flip camcorder into iMovie or iDVD. I'm not really sure what authoring program would be best. Neal THe manauf. site says Video Format is Advanced Profile MPEG4 AVI

SO if you need to edit the video you'd go to iMovie first, once the project is edited, titled, and audio is correct you'd export to iDVD.

You have to drag and drop the video into iMovie.

I used the install disk to reset the administrator password on my mac laptop. Now, it sometimes asks for my keychain password. Christy I've never set a keychain password, but now I realize that probably what happened is that when I reset my administrator password (thank you and Greg for the information), the keychain remained my forgotten password. Jen Zupp We had problems with Kid pix 3 when we changed our computer system years ago. To fix the problem we ordered Kid Pix Deluxe 4 for schools and haven't had a problem since. We have both a mac x lab and a dell xp lab.

I have found that older AW files don't convert but newer ones do. Which version of AW are you converting from?

Has anyone used an online journal? I am interested in doing this, but need some advice on how and what to do.

I have thought about using a blog, moodle, or even paying for a website membership.

Can anyone give me any advice on where to start??

wig I use wikispaces. What I like is that it can be protected so anyone can see it but only those you invite, like your students, can post on it. You can also check the history to see exactly who posted when. I set up a page for each of my students, on it.

I email the same person from my IMAC at least once every day and have done so for months, but for the past week or so, she had not received anything from me. I use yahoo for mail and she uses att.net. My internet provider is DSL extreme. I receive all the emails that she sends to me. Neal (m) att.net is blocking your yahoo mail. Is she getting other yahoo mail? (lots of spam originates from yahoo mail)

She would have to ask att.net to unblock your address specifically.

cs I would stick w/ the advise Neal gave you. I have never heard of "Drive Wizard" I have cloned many Macs and have done it exactly the way Neal suggested.
