I want to pair things down a bit for the future and set fewer goals, but make certain students achieve them. I think it's probably best to set only a few. I was wondering what others thought. So, if you were to choose from 3-5 goals, i.e. things you would absolutely want every student to walk out of your class knowing or having experienced, what would they be? I'm referring to concrete goals.

SH My goals are that my students experience the "magic" of art.

I want them to be excited to get their hands dirty and make something, and then have that excitement carry them through the lessons on history and artists and elements & principles.
