I interviewed for an internal transfer at a middle school for an art position. The AP seemed very happy with my previous experience as both a middle school art teacher and most recently an adaptive art teacher/consultant to other art teachers on modifying lessons and units. The tone was very conversational, we shared ideas and discussed particulars of the position. She even gave me a tour of the art room and showed me where everything is. She also discussed upcoming technology coming next year for teachers. At the end, she said "so it depends how fast HR moves, but you get a call from them soon, depending on the snow, probably early next week" (I have to be told either way by Friday). In our district, we are informed of denial by email, not phone call. Only offers are on the phone. I felt it went really well, so I'm wondering if showing me the room and saying such things are indications I got the job??? I hate waiting! What do you think?
