What to say at Open House?

Our open house this year is more of a meet and greet, I am quite and introvert when it comes to meeting new people. What are some of the things I could say to the student and family when I meet them?

Try this In advance of the open house, send home an information package. In it, outline some key curriculum expectations/outcomes for the grade (doesn't have to be really detailed, but rather something like, "In math this year students will work on X, Y, and Z. Parents can support their learning in the following ways..."
