Thanks everyone for your advice and opinons. I guess only time will tell if I connected with a few or not. This is only my second week. I was called "B----" today from a student. I asked her to stack a pile of magazines that she messed up and she yelled "NO" and threw five of them on the floor on purpose. I asked her to leave the class and she yelled that. So I suppose there are a few that I cannot reach because they have major anger issues or personal problems. I want to stay a teacher. This school is very hard. I get called a racist everyday from African-American and Hispanic students because I am the only Asian working there. YET those students call each other the "N----" word daily and I try to make them stop calling each other that. Thanks anyways for the advice. I guess I will keep trying and not quit. I am not a quitter but I really wish that my situation and school was a lot better!!!

You are being treated badly and called a racist by a bunch of RACISTS. Do you deserve th...See More
