Teaching Jobs on Teachers.Net

So I am fresh out of college and starting up my first job search. I hold a degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Development and am trying to piece together a teaching portfolio for job interviews. Needless to say I'm a little lost as to what all to include so any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Mandy I had to do 3 portfolios in college to become a teacher which was ridiculous because each professor had his/her own requirements. One of the ones I had do was just like pixie's, but that's not what I used when I interviewed for jobs.

MJ 25 interviews for teaching and only 1 seemed interested in looking at my portfolio. Btw, NO jobs either.

Leah The following lists may provide some ideas. I think after the basics listed for each interviewer, a picture could be helpful. It could be of you interacting with your students, or of the students who created something unique under your guidance, both of which you could discuss as evidence of your teaching strengths. LJ My last interviewer went through every page of my portfolio and asked me about all my projects in detail. She was geniuinely interested in my accomplishments and about what I could do.

This job was NOT for the public school system. (Although it is related to teaching.)
