my 5 year old writes his numbers backwards and gets
frustrated when we make him rewrite them should we make
him do this or will he write them on his own as he gets
older?

Teacher Chatboards
writing letters and numbers backwards is very common at this
age. Even into first and second grade. I think that kids
don't see it as backwards sometimes. More importantly than
writing them is the understanding of what a number means and
number recognition.
