Hey, I am doing some research on cyber bullying for my media coursework and was wondering if I could get some of your views on the subject. Any personal experiences on cyber bullying or if you have even come across it in your career.Ideas for how we can combat it would be good too! Anything!
Nearly every ...See MoreWe ordered the educational DVD from the RonansEscape.com website (purchased a screening license for $60) to show in our school and it was fantastic and VERY effective. Not only did the DVD have the film, it also had a short behind the scenes feature, 'making of' photos, and also the script/storyboards. Well worth the charge.
Nearly every school in our region (NSW Australia) have used the film in some capacity as part of their anti-bullying campaigns. It's hard hitting during the end sequence, but we ensured we followed up with a full class long discussion afterwards and made sure the students had an open forum to discuss what they saw.
Not a dry eye in the class, and really made the students discuss their experiences. Amazing film.

The theme of the show involved a discussion on their theoretical construct, iPredator Bridge, and the dynamics involved in why some online users engage in harming others in cyberspace.
It is worth your time to view cyberbullying victim Amanda Todd’s video, created three days before she committed suicide. [Click below to access links to the audio program and to the video.]

I am a high school teacher who is having a problem with a recently ex student. The student has spent the entire year spreading rumors about me and generally making my life at school hell. She made a complaint about me having a 'relationship' with another student and I had to go through meetings with senior management about this. There are no truth to these rumors and the school knows these are not true. The allegations only came about after she had been cut from the school play due to lack of attendance. She has continued to create problems and fuel rumors for the rest of the year. She has sent me messages that contain swear words and are abusive. She had had her fiance on facebook threaten me and my class. She has told other students she will slash my tires. She has waited for me after school and followed me into my office then recorded a conversation with me in which I told her I would not speak to her ( she played this to another current student) She is now in the process of writing a complaint letter to my teachers registration council about me.I have gone back to senior management about this as I am feeling completely harassed and upset about it. I dont think they can do anything about it as she is 18 and has just left school.
