After heading the Bullying Committee for two years, I was transfered to another school in the district. I realized that our "Bullying" program should be district wide. We need to educate our children early about bullying. Maybe next year, our school will continue with the program.
Anon. I agree wholeheartedly that bullying should be addressed as early as possible. Role-playing helps children recognize and battle bullying! It's hard when administration is bullying teachers, but that's another mailring

Mae in Texas Last year our counselor taught a lesson on bullying. How are we supposed to combat bullying when TV glorifies it? My DD likes to watch TCL. The other day she left the TV on in the living room. I came in and caught a portion of Bridezilla. The "bride" was bullying her groom to be in the most horrid of ways.
