How can we use technology (such as Facebook/ smartboards)to help studentts and their peers become aware of bullying so we can decrease the statistc?

I love the idea of creating the facebook page. Of course, encouragement for the students to join the page will be essential and so will careful monitoring of the site. Who will do this and what actions will be taken if a student is in trouble?

I really like the idea of using facebook to post videos of bullying. One way to get the students to describe what they saw in the video would be to have them write in a journal. This would be especially useful in an english/language arts class.

I think it's important to develop a substantial cyber policy for your school or classroom. You can use Facebook and other technology tools to disseminate, demonstrate, and display the policy and the importance of implementing it.
