How can we use technology (such as Facebook/ smartboards)to help studentts and their peers become aware of bullying so we can decrease the statistc?

Jeremy Roe How about develop a Facebook page and website with links to youtube videos of testimonial videos on the harmful effects of bullying. The Facebook page and website could also have links to advocacy and support groups. An iPhone app - witch geotagging - could also be developed to allow students to anonymously report instances of bullying.

Luanne I love the idea of creating the facebook page. Of course, encouragement for the students to join the page will be essential and so will careful monitoring of the site. Who will do this and what actions will be taken if a student is in trouble?

Emily Horton I really like the idea of using facebook to post videos of bullying. One way to get the students to describe what they saw in the video would be to have them write in a journal. This would be especially useful in an english/language arts class.
