For me the corporate office is very distant from the parents. They have all of these ideologies but you don't see a lot on a day to day basis. From what I've seen management above the centers is very remote. But if you have good management within the center that makes a huge difference.

I have three questions: 1. What is a typical day like for a ECE trainer 2. Do you work freelance or through a company? Is the company government or public/private 3. What range do trainers make per session?
I decided it wasn't worth it. Although, admittedly, I do ...See MoreTrainers who do the ABC Music and Me training for Kindercare/Bright Horizons are paid $50 per hour, and it's an on-call thing, where when a center in your area wants training, they call the company and the company goes down their list until they find someone who is willing to do it.
I decided it wasn't worth it. Although, admittedly, I do an awful lot of training free of charge.
Ed2Go pays for people to develop and teach online classes, but I don't know what the rate is. I've looked into it, but am having trouble with figuring out how to make early childhood music work in an online setting.

Opps, spelling typo. I meant to put BRUSHING not brusing.
Also, since we are a sugar free program and the children do not drink sweet drinks like juice, it is not necessary to use toothpaste. That sure has made a big difference in mess.
I'd like to invite you all to visit my site at Calico Cookie Kindergarten. You will find ideas and activities there for teachers and parents of preschool, Kindergarten and primary age children.
