I used this activity in with my Algebra students and they liked it a lot! You start with a 6 x 6 table, and in each square you write a problem. I used it for factoring, so each square had a trinomial written in it. Students work in groups of 3; two players compete and the third is called the "moderator". When it's your turn, you roll a pair of dice, which indicates the row and column where your problem is located. You then proceed to solve the problem, and then ask the moderator (which has the correct answers) if it is correct. If so, you get to mark the square. If not, the opposing player has a chance to steal. Play keeps alternating until a player connects four of his squares in a row, diagonal, or column. It is a quick game that serves as a good review for a quiz.
