Has anyone tried implementing a long term behavior management game in their classroom? I recently read an article that pertained to using a game for classroom/behavior management. The basic gist revolved around a teacher who was struggling with creating a positive learning environment and he implemented a series of rewards that were awarded based upon positive behaviors. Students were grouped into teams with rewards effecting the group as a whole. These rewards were then able to be used during the final period of the day for advancement in a quest type game. Curious if anyone had tried something similar and whether or not the students bought in.
