Hi there, my suggestion the mouse is bad and time to get a replacement. The good news is you can get a new one for about 10$. However just to be sure, I would try another optical mouse just to see if its not the usb port that may have faulty leads.
Are you sharing the mouse with your toddler or will the mouse be exclusively used by your toddler? I would get a small mouse since toddler's have small hands. You could get a mouse that is designed for a toddler or child or just get a laptop small mouse.
If it is a regular mouse, you may want to put a sticker on the left mouse button so your child will know which button to click.
Some of the laptop mice come with cords that are retractable, AND are really small, good for little children's hands ... and they sometimes work with desktops ... check them out.
Oh..your document IS the "file" you want to save it to a folder.

Hi there, I recently got a tablet pc and I was wondering if there was any way to the pc to the smartboard wirelessly so I could walk around the classroom and face the students and show them stuff on the tablet and it shows up on the smartboard? Thanks!

Hi and thanks for your reply, yes they do. It is a Compaq TC 1000 and should run the software fine, but what confused me is that since the smartboard would hook to a computer via usb and a vga port, and since those ports are on the tablet, how could I move around the class and keep the smartboard connected to the computer so what I do on the tablet shows up on the smartboard.
The slate you mention, is it the one smartboard makes or something else.

And you can use it to project movies, song lyrics, craft ...See MoreAside from the specialized lessons you can use with the smartboard, just having it to replace a blackboard, whiteboard, and flipchart paper is a gem ... and you can teach your kiddies how to "write" on it in different colors to fill in daily charts, math and spelling problems, etc.

Right now I teach my kids different graphics programs like KidPix and TuxPaint and intro to Word,PP and Excel. Now I am thinking how I can use SB in the computer lab and connect my lesson plans with SB or create new lessons.
