I would appreciate talking to anyone teaching photography on the high school level. I am trying to design a class and would like suggestions on any book references, etc.

I think that's all gone the way of the dodo - but the web has link belo
using Insertion Point(cursor), Backspace, Delete, Arrow Keys while typing words or simple sentences. I've noticed it's really hard for them to move around typed text (editing, deleting letters or words) Thanks a lot.
We do one lesson where the students change the color of the font to match the color name (ie, red is in red). In another activity they have to insert a letter so that the color word is spelled correctly. We have another activity where they delete a letter or letters so that the color word is spelled correctly.
Some students finish this quickly so I have them type the color words after they are done wiht the original activity.
I also do another activity where they change the font size of words so that it matches the font size listed. I start off with all of the words the same size but they have to change them to 24, 36, 48, 72, and 96.
You Tube was working fine for me but in these past few days the player hasn't been loading. Has You Tube changed things? I frequently download videos to play in the classroom and now......forget it! Very frustrating. Any suggestions on how to correct this? Thank you for any ideas. BTW, we're running XP, IE8, Java, and Adobe.

On another subbing adventure, I had the opposite happen. I had the doc cam and lcd working together but couldn't switch over to the laptop. I had to get another teacher who magically did something - but apparently I didn't get it!
:( Any help would be appreciated.I don't want to appear to be too helpless.

Your input will help evaluate the effectiveness...See MoreHi, all, My company, Concord Evaluation Group (CEG) is working with WGBH-Boston (the PBS station in Boston) on an important survey to gather feedback from high school teachers, female high school students, and career counselors about the attitudes towards and understanding of certain careers.
Your input will help evaluate the effectiveness of an ongoing initiative designed to help young women explore new and exciting career options. All responses are anonymous and will be kept private.
We welcome your participation! Each month we will randomly choose one person who completes the survey to win $100.
The survey will take about 20 minutes and you may only respond once. Please feel free to forward / post this message to female students, other counselors, or engineers you know who might be interested. Thanks for your help!
