I have 5 days to fill, so any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I suggest you write the new pass word down and have the Principal keep it in a safe with budget or other important papers.
You will need to use the pass word regularly to update system software and install anything on the computers.
Good Luck,

Boot Linux Grub Boot Loader into single user mode When you restart the computer you have an option for which kernel to use. Choose the kernel Press the e key to edit the entry Select second line (the line starting with the word kernel) press the e key to edit kernel entry so that you can append single user mode Append the letter S to the end of the (kernel) line Press ENTER Press the b key to boot the Linux kernel into single user mode When prompted to give root password and you be allowed to login into single user mode. you can reset it from there. For Windows, you can use a live CD such as Knoppix and a little program called chntpw to edit the SAM file. It may not work on Windows 7 machines, I haven't tested it yet. However, chntpw does work fine on XP computers
The School Lab has winxp pro, and a network where students accidentally move folders around. Student log on as student, not with a personal ID or password. I constantly find a folder slid in another classes folder even between grade levels. Is there a way to anchor these folders so they cannot move?
I hope that he has created 4 more to fill the ranks. I know that I appreciate all that he's done to promote literacy in the age of the web
