Because of the H1N1 virus, I was told to have each class wipe down, with Clorox wipes, their keyboards and mouse before using them. Will the moisture from the wipes rouine the keyboards? If so, what would you recommend? (Skins are too expensive for my small private school.) Leslie

CTJS Clorox wipes do not have bleach. I have used them on the computers in my classroom with no problem. I was also given a disinfecting spray (similar to Lysol) to use which I spray at the end of the day over the computers.

The packaging for Clorox wipes specifically states that the wipes can be used for computers.

TechTchr Although we feel that we are doing some good with Clorox wipes, my daughter-in-law (who is a pediatrician) has told me that Clorox wipes aren't that effective at killing germs. A liquid has to stand on a surface for a good period of time to actually kill anything, and that's impossible on a keyboard. The only germs we're getting rid of are the ones...See More
