Hi: I am an esl/efl teacher, but I am currently taking a master class for teaching and I am working on my assignments. I have been at it for 8 hours and have a deadline. I am suffering from brain freeze at the moment. One of my questions is: Determine what the most likely grammar point is in the following sentences, define and summarize the point and then develop a guided discovery lesson plan for each. I have no problem with the lesson plans and the define and summarize parts, but when I looked at the sentences, my brain went blank and stayed that way. the sentences are: 1) I would go if I had the time. 2) what have you done with your hair? 3)That sign was just painted. 4) He could have phoned but I doubt it. 5) She'll have finished by the time we arrive.

Could anyone please help with this?

thank you!
Jack the wise You are a cheat and lazy.

Liz Braun Jack: Really? This was years ago and the way the test was worded, nobody could answer it correctly. Without any help I passed the master level exam with 100%. I received the highest grade in the history of the course. I also completed additional grammar certifications. I am one of the highest rated ESl teachers out there with a 100% success rate. I...See More

So you weren't looking for help by posting your assignment question on this site ? What would you call it then ? You even wrote "Could anyone please help with this?" (whether they did or not doesn't matter, the intent was there).

That is the point. Whatever 7000 hours yo...See More

Liz Jack, SInce you are so wise, you must understand that this was an assignment, not an actual exam. I clearly stated this fact in my original post. Can you honestly say you have never discussed an assignment with other students? I was not looking for an answer, but simply some feedback to clear up the ambigious nature of the question. To do this I ne...See More

Jack the wise Sure, I've discussed assignments with other students ... not that it matters now, but assignment or exam, would your course facilitators want you to be looking for assistance, feedback or whatever you want to call it on the internet ? Or do the work purely on your own, in order for you to build your own skills ? (again means nothing now as you have...See More
