Hi everyone, I am a MFL secondary teacher and i would like to add a TEFL certificate to my qualification. I have had a look at the CELTA courses and at other options such as TEFL offered by other institutions (I am lookig at The TEFL Academy). Price difference is very significant and I wonder if I really need such an intense course like the CELTA or if, thanks to my previous experience as teacher, a "softer" version would still guarantee me more job opportunities. I hope you know about this matter and will be able to give me some advice! Thanks in advance, Isabella
Michelle If you are looking for an endorsement program, WGU (Western Governors University) offers an ESL endorsement program. It is totally online and self paced. I am currently a student there obtaining my masters in ESL. They charge 2800 per semester. Good luck!!
