How sweet it is. Beating the payroll bloated Yankees any
day of the week puts a spring in my step, but for the Red
Sox (I'm a life long fan of the team) to humiliate the
Yankees in such historic fashion on the Yanks home field
in front of possibly the most arrogant and spoiled fan
base in the history of the planet erases decades of
frustration--the slate is now clean, my friends. This
Bosox victory, coupled by the collossal collapse by the
Yankees (fondly nicknamed the Yank-offs by individuals who
share my feelings for that club) is the most delicious
vindication imaginable. Did I mention that I was happy
about this?
