I was challenged in the chatroom by another chatter when I said I've been here since the mid '90s. She treated me like I was a liar. How long HAVE I been chatting here? This is the only teachers' site I've ever chatted in. When did this chatroom open?
I have not been receiving the mailrings for the special education or early childhood boards in several months now. I just tried to subscribe again, but it is telling me that I am already subscribed. I also used to receive the early childhood mailring, but have not received that in several months either. I have sent several complaints about not receiving the mailrings, but have not received any kind of reply. What do I need to do???? Unsubscribe and then resubscribe??? I would really appreciate an answer! Maybe I'll finally get an answer by posting it here. Going through e-mail has gotten me nowhere.
I can see trying to go through here got me nowhere also. I'M STILL NOT RECEIVING POSTS! I had to rejoin using a different e-mail address. Let's see if that works. Very disappointed by those who run these boards!

This is my final attempt at trying to get some help with this problem. I am not receiving the posts in my email. Is this no longer being done? Is there anybody willing to help with the problem or at least give me an answer? Please read below for the details.

Can you please insert sections on this chatboard entitled Testing with subheadings "CSET-English", "PRAXIS-Math", etc. I have been trying to find info on test tips and have to go through all the headings trying to find something. Thanks for the great website.
Does anyone else have difficulty following a topic thru, once apost goes up?
I think it would be so helpful if replies would be directly under the original post, instead of going up as they are written, which ends up being a very random placement.

Just to clear up any misunderstanding:
That is absolutely coreect, Yvonne Thomas and I were co founders and the idea was sparked between us at some point durring the search in fact I beleive another volunteer put forth the idea but I don't remember her name.
We formed and ran the group for several years. We were not only co founders, we organized almost every meeting, guest speaker, and took care of most all of the other functions that were necessary to keep the group running. Vince Larkin, Dan Ptak and Bob Burns of the Syracuse Sherrifs Department as well as several others were instrumental in keeping the group going. Unfortunately, Yvonne became frustrated with the lack of participation by many who were willing to help in the beginning but failed to keep up their share of the responsibilies.
As far as I was told, when I relocated to another state and Yvonne moved further away from Syracuse the group fell apart as no one that remained in the group was willing to put forth the effort.
Here is a thank you for all the work that goes into running the site. I tried to join the art chat last night Thurs. Chatroom was very slow in opening. Then once I had signed in the bar for typing in "chat " never appeared. I finally went out of Teachers Net and when I tried to get back in ran into same problem I've had before site wouldn't open.
