I am a graduate student doing an action research paper on "The effects of EOG's on 3rd grade student". I would appreciate as many responses as possible. 1. Please specify your race/ehtnicity. (optional) 2. Years of teaching experience. 3. Subject(s) taught. 4. How much of an emphasis is placed on eog's. 5. Do teachers believe that the eog's is a fair and valid measurement of teaching and student learning. 6. How has the eog's affected the curriculum taught to students. 7. How has the eog's affected the teachers and students. 8. Has the eog's improved teaching and learning at the school.

I'd love to see a chatboard for inner city teachers. I know it's been mentioned before. While it's beneficial to read all of the other boards on elem. ed, there are many issues that only someone in the city schools can appreciate and truely understand. Teaching can be such an isolated profession, we need a place to meet and support eachother.

One need only look at the counter productive posts we get on the regular NJ teacher board to see that we need a AR board. This is an issue that has been brought up a number of times but teacher.net still have not set one up. We clearly need on. There is so much confusion on the issue in NJ. Havng our own board will give us the chance to talk to each other and give each other support. As it is now we must share the NJ board with teachers who went into teaching via the traditional route. Many times they are a big distraction as they attack the alternate route program and the candidates who are attemping to enter teaching via this alternate route
I am doing a research project on the Internet and Literacy in the classroom. I was just wondering if someone would be willing to do an email interview with me, so that I have some personal responses to incorporate, instead of just using articles and books. It wouldn't entail a lot of time - I just would come up with a list of questions about how teachers nowadays are integrating the Internet in the classroom...it's benefits, drawbacks, etc...Please let me know if you you can help!!

Is there a web site that is for Dyslexia Teachers? I am the only dyslexia person in my district. I feel so alone. I'd like to be able to chat with other teachers of dyslexia. Thanks.
Hello, We are a group of 4 students from Aruba, studying to become elementary schoolteachers. We are working on a project about ICT and education and we would like to have some information about ICT in different schools, in different counrties. Could you be so kind to post us a message and help us out with our project? Thank you!
I have built a website for you all to scan that gives all the information needed to get your Standard Certificate in the state of NJ. Feel free to contact me for suggestions and constructional critizisms. I am trying to make this process easy for us.

Good afternoon James-
I am currently in the process of putting together my resume so I can pursue becoming a teacher via the alternate route.
I was wondering if you had any sample resumes that may assist me as I proceed.
