A lot of us in the Primary Elem. board have been talking about classroom themes, decor, and bulletin boards and I thought it would be great to have a place where we could discuss this. Room environment plays an essential part in building a sense of community and teamwork in the classroom. I would love to be able to get other teachers ideas about these things! Thanks! :) Sumbunny

I see an increase in mental health issues for children in our country. If you read the other chatboards, you see phrases as: ocd, selective mutism, depression, bipolar, behaviour issues, anxiety, trauma, panic, etc.
According to a recent study, approximately 10% of our children suffer from mental health issues and yet, there is so little attention being paid to this issue.

I'm an aide, too, and I searched your list in vain for a parapro board. There are MANY of us out here. Maybe we could have a board? If so, it would be wonderful!
I have several years of teaching english in Korea and Egypt. No, not all teachers go to Korea to play UNO or make money!! I actually taught English. I taught English in Egypt in a private language school that offered students grade 12 diplomas (like a regular school in America). I have a MA in Elem Ed (ESL) online degree. But some of the higher International schools require a Teachers certificate.
How can I obtain a teacher's certificate? I have both education and practicum.

Is our privacy of who we really are maintained on the board? Why does the red line sometime flash? I gain valuable information from this site. Thank you, Me
