I noticed that the CA and the NY chatboards have a little art work at the top. I then noticed that there is no picture at the top of the Michigan chatboard. Why isn't there a picture? Just curious.AP

Hi AP,
It was just a matter of time constraints. The CA and NY chatboards were created some time ago in a small group of about 3 new boards. The Michigan chatboard was created recently along with about 46 others.

There is a post about an itch that needs removed. In addition, while you are removing that post would you please remove all of the posts of students begging for answers to A.R. tests? It is ridiculous that you have to weed through all of these posts to find the teacher posts.

I submitted an article and I am not sure that you actually got it. I've emailed 3 or 4 times now, and no one has emailed me back, which makes me wonder if you even got my emails. Can you please let me know? Mae

Hi Mae,
I did receive your article and tried to e-mail you twice. The first message bounced back. (The same thing happened when I attempted to respond to your first message asking whether you should submit the article, so there has been a glitch somewhere.) The second message did not bounce back (at least I didn't see it) so I assumed you received it. I'm sorry you didn't receive the acknowledgement, but watch for your article in the May issue...Mary has it formatted and ready to go. I'm very happy to have the article!
Thank you! I have been having trouble w/email for awhile now. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't! P.S. I would appreciate it if you would not put my real name w/my post name. Just use my real name for the article. Thanks again, Mae
Please check out the thread "To Lori, Sadie, and Others: NAME YOUR DISTRICT!!" Can it be removed? It is not so much offensive as it is a bad idea... Thanks.
Won't it better to put the most current chat message at the top of the list according to the date on which it was posted, whether it is a reply to an old topic or a completely new topic? That way, it would be easier for one to figure out the recent postings, instead of having to go through the whole page, topic by topic, to figure out which postings are recent.
Is there a list for mentor teachers? I am a new ECE mentor teacher in California and would like to maybe link up with other mentors (especially ECE) to learn any tips and ways they work with their mentorees.

We do not currently have such a list, but it's a terrific idea and I'm making note of it. Thank you!
In fact, I want to develop a list of mentors who would donate an hour during a week early in Sept. to mentor online for new and beginning (and even veteran) teachers 9-10 pm in the Meeting Room.
disneycathy directed me to the magictrips board for preparing for a trip to Walt Disney World. I've been reading and posting on it for a couple of days. They have some really cool features. I particularly like the use of all of the cute icons - they are fun! There is also a way to send private messages. You register, but it's still private, and you don't have to give your name. The registration allows for interesting things like birthdays and private messages. I'm not sure what the other features are yet, but they do have some neat ones. Also, you can see how many people have viewed your posts and how many have responded - this is cool, because sometimes you just post a tip and you don't know if anyone cared or not. Well, anyhow, you guys might want to play on their site (and get lots of great WDW tips!) and see what possible enhancements would be beneficial to tnet. (go for the cute dancing icons :o))Mae

Hello all, I would like say that I'm addicted to this site. (Worse than the collapse game even....) I would also like to make a suggestion. After reading a post, I find it annoying to have to click on the next thread of the message if I want to read it. Is it possible to put a next message button at the end of the posts?
Thank you for making the link for ALL the individual states chatboards (with pulldown) right on the main directory for all the other chatboards.
I once in awhile found my Washingston state board but mostly I forgot about it because it was not listed there as a place to click on with the directory of the other boards. Occasionally, I clicked on the ad to get to my state but most of the time I forgot to check there when reading many other boards because it was so hard to "find" a link to it.
