Bob this is serious, "Skippy " who posts on Golden Apples chat board has been pulled off. This has to be a mistake. This is a very positive person who has never been unkind or inappropriate. She shares kind encouragement and her wonderful animal pictures. PLEASE get her back on where she belongs. Jo Swingley

Ok Bob, I am going to keep pushing for Skippy to be put back on Golden Apples chat board. We miss her cheerful look on life and the animals. I don't know how else to get your attention..I do not mean to be hostile or rude just want your attention. Jo S
I posted twice last night on two different message boards and neither appeared on the boards. Are some posts left out ? Could the site have been down and I have to repost? I am a frequent poster, and this has never happened before.
Dear Educators, I understand what a shortage of time is available in our field, but I hope you will take the time to read and respond to this message. I am completing a class on collaborative action research for my Master's degree. The area I am researching is using portfolios effectively to document students' literacy growth. I was hoping to get some tips/advice from teachers who have used portfolios in their classroom. If you have ideas or suggestions related to the use of portfolios, please share them with me. Thanks, Melissa
I cannot believe there is a Daycare Board, and we still have no Parapro Board!!!! We are required to be "Highly Qualified". Many of the daycare workers I know (with a few exceptions) are high school students!!

In our district the terms Teaching Assistant and Para- professional are used interchangably. (and up until fairly recently, Teacher's Aide) What are the distinctions between the two (T/A vs. Parapro) in your district?
Feel free to e-mail me.

I would like to know why I can post on most boards but not the private school board. I have tried to post twice now about a religion book series question and my post has been bumped for a review. There is nothing inappropriate about my post what so ever. I have been posting on teachers.net for a long time. Can someone on the "board" tell me what the issue is?
