I miss the old Primary Chatboard. The new board is too slow and I rarely use it anymore. Education Cuts Chatboard

I would like to request a chatboard called EDUCATION CUTS. It might be nice to have such a board to track what is happening across the country. With the closure of nearly half of Kansas City schools in my back yard, a place to share information would be relevant.

yes, please I am trying to keep up with the flood of news about school closings, reconstitutions, furlough days, layoffs, etc. It would be very helpful to have it in a central location here.

I rarely come to teachers.net since the change in chatboard format. I have found other resources, but I miss the old primary and intermedite boards. There were SO many more people sharing and visiting daily before the change. It was a wonderful resource that I got a TON of ideas from. Alternate Careers for Teachers Category

Would it be possible to set up a category labeled 'Alternate Careers for Teachers". It may not be a bad idea given the current and future conditions of the teaching profession. Teachers could bounce ideas from one another and may generate some new ideas, and hope for the future.
