Would you be interested in a forum (such as a chatboard
here at Teachers.Net) for discussing standards-based
teaching? There are a lot of strategies and issues that
are unique to standards-based instruction, and which can
be applied no matter which set of standards (national
standards or state-specific standards of any state) are
being used. I've noticed an increasing number of
discussions about topics such as how to design standards-
based lessons, how to use standards in the classroom,
standards-based assessment, etc. - it seems like we could
benefit from a chatboard focused on Standards-Based
Instruction now that standards are becoming increasingly
emphasized in most schools. Would others be interested?
