School Sorts Kids into Winners and Losers

School is a game of winners and losers with the winning always at the expense of losing. School cannot have a valedictorian without a class goat; the top third of a class without the bottom third; a good student without a bad student (otherwise they would just be students); an honor roll without an ornery roll. Jonah Except that in most arenas, if you are really bad at something, you have the option of quitting and working on something else. I'm really bad at baseball, so I choose not to play it and therefore I am not humiliated.
