I am new to 4th grade having taught 3rd grade for 5 years and would love to have pen pals this year. I have tried this several times and only once did we actually get letters back and forth.
I am new to fourth grade as well!!! I have been teaching third grade too! I am departmentalized so I have two classes if another teacher in fourth would like to do it with you. I have a total of 43 students. We would love to take on some penpals!
I am looking to do pen pals with another 4th class too. I only have 12 students. Did you find a class to be pen pals with? If not, I would be interested.
