Does anyone use individual student data books in their classrooms? We started a few years ago and would like to add to the existing ones...reading tests, math test graphs, attendance, behavior, reading levels, ect. Anything pertinent that we may have not accounted for?
Perhaps this year... I've been toying around with the idea of doing this with my students this year. When students learn to manipulate data, they develop a real-world appreciation for the importance of properly interpreting graphics/charts/pictographs in math/science, etc. problems. I'd be interested in hearing what all you include in your data books.
