My name is Dave and I am trying to re-contact a retired teacher that I met very briefly just the other day in Santa Rosa, CA. Her first name is Coralita but I did not get her last name. Her first name is Coralita but I did not get her last name. It was one of those "chance meets" where you hit it off but did not leave your email or phone number with each other; a parting with me continuously kicking myself afterwards for not doing so while driving too far away to return. This is a long shot, I know, and I hope that this is the proper forum to use, but I am also hoping that someone will know and contact Coralita to help her and I to reconnect somehow. She told me that she is a retired teacher with the pubic school system who had taught each of grades 1 through 12 during her career (possibly in Marin/Sonoma County ?), and she also mentioned that she now teaches at a Junior College (I'm assuming somewhere in the nearby area also). I was just en route and passing through the area when we met, and we only talked while we each filled our cars up with gas at a Chevron Station located right off of SB US 101 in Santa Rosa at about 6 pm on Tuesday 3/9/10--we really "clicked" but then we hugged and we both left, each going in our different directions. Coralita (and I'm guessing on the first name spelling, remembering that this is what sounded like what she said her name was) looks nicely to be in her 50's (always bad to guess a woman's age), is and looks Hawaiian (from Kahului, Maui), has longer straight black hair, is about 5'2", with a thinner build, and has such great "aloha" spirit. Please, if anyone reading this message has the gift of matchmaking for people of a kindred spirit, I sure would appreciate their response back to me with any suggestions for me as to how I might be able to find/again meet Coralita--please respond back to me via my email address of "[email removed]

She probably doesn't use her real name but if you leave an email, she may respond. Worth a try. Good luck and you may get more ladies responding than you bargained for but hopefully you'll find her.

I am teacher considering relocating to Georgia with my family. I would like to know how do I go about getting a teaching job in Georgia. I am dual certified in special and general education.
There's a Days Inn in Invermere Valley that starts at around $79/night (Jan 1-4). They also allow pets. The reviews were mixed (clean but needing an update on decor). Just go to [link removed].
p. norman beckerThe best one is sabbaticalhomes.com Another one is teacherstravelweb.com. I advertise on homeaway.com and have 2 listings for folks traveling to the Chicago area: [link removed]
I visited the teachers.net chatroom one evening and the people there were discussing a "gathering" somewhere in California. Does anyone know anything about this? Is it open to anyone or to just those that chat in the chatroom. I am interested in more information. Thank you.
