DH just came back from taking the car in to the garage. It
began to spit and sputter during the time DGD and I were out
of state. The mechanic repaired it this morning, which is
not the norm--there is only one garage in the area works on
my kind of car, another delightful facet of this small town.
We really petted that baby getting home-I feared the very
idea of a breakdown. Not only did DGD miss her mother, we
were both tired from all the traveling, and Luppy was sick.
Imagine, summer heat in the southeast, two tired females,
and a dog with diaharea, sitting on the side of a busy
interstate. It would not be a purdy sight.
Thank God we made it home safely. We are looking forward to
seeing everyone in Austin!
