I am looking for lyrics or a recording of a song that we used to sing in our German classes years ago. I remember "Guten Tag Fraeulein Hase...was machst du heute Abend...." If anyone knows where I could get information about this music I would be much obliged. Josh
Did you finally got that song/lyrics from Ursula? If so, pl send across to me at [email removed].
NTW, I remember faintly it was: "Guten morgen fraulein hase; was tut dir heute abend?" - well, it was over 20 years ago and i was less than half my present age...
thanks abhishek

I am a fellow teacher who hangs out on the Sub board (was a sub last year, first time teacher this year, yay!) and wanted to send you a message.
I also work part time as a proofreader for a local company that does translation services. Its all at-home, freelance, work on the computer stuff. I've been doing this for a year now and am getting ready to get VERY busy - - they have a huge project coming up.
My boss is looking for 30 to 40 (yes, THAT MANY) people who can speak/write/read German and English fluently. They require people who are detailed, organized and have an excellent command of the grammar.
This is for real. I make 10.00 per hour, but it's "billable" hours, so if I open, glance and read a file, that's considered .25 hours (.25 hour increments for time recording)
If anyone is interested in a part time gig, which is ideal for part-time teachers (if you are one) wanting to earn money, but not having to spend the gas going somewhere -- then feel free to send me an email at the above address. This is all for real, no hidden "pay me 100 dollars and I'll take your money and disappear" things. I'm as honest as the day is long -- you can even jump to the Substitute Board and check out the thread "When it rains it pours, I guess".
I just want to share this with you because we are all talented in our own ways and, what better way to help each other out than give them information like this?

I'm not a recruiter or anyone who can offer employment -- just an employee who knows where to find the kind of people who can do what they want done. I'm not being paid a single penny for this.
Is this spam?

I received some free latest edition texts that I would like to pass on if you can pick them up. I teach a different language so I don't really need to keep them. Includes teacher edition, student edition, cds, workbooks from several publishers. If interested, email me for more info. k

And it's that time when many of these teachers are seeking jobs and having interviews. My challenge is I am a business ed. teacher, and I don't have many foreign language teacher interview questions to offer them.
Please post or email me your specific German interview questions.
Thank you for all your assistance in developing this student teacher resource.
Dear UK teachers, I would like to have some contact with teachers who are teaching German with the AQA Exam Board for GCSE and who are using the modular course. I am would like to exchange ideas and teaching methods. I am fairly new to teaching. Thank you.
How can I find a list of teachers who are currently teaching German and their school locations? I work with pre-service placements for a teacher education program and would like to be able to place students for observation.
TerrieHThe German government has an Overseas Schools Office which maintains lists of all programs. Contact the International School of Tucson and they can give you information on German office.
