I've kept the cardinal as my avatar for a year in her memory, and I know all of her many friends here join me in raising a snickerdoodle in her memory.

I have a plastic cardinal on my window shade pull, and a real patio where I sit in the summer and have my beverage of choice. Both of those make me remember Magoo. She was someone very special.

Making Snickerdoodles Saturday with grands when they are here for the day (so parents can go holiday shopping).

She had such a flair for telling a story. I remember her story of the badger (I think) in her freezer and laughing all the way through. Her stories were every bit as entertaining as Dave Barry's.
